Hello, my name is Jill
I am thrilled to introduce myself as the founder of The Bougie Life Games, an exciting and innovative initiative designed to infuse fun and excitement into people's lives. My name is Jill Bill, AKA Bougie Babe 1, and I am deeply passionate about creating memorable experiences and fostering a sense of joy and camaraderie among all participants. My goal is to create a platform for building lasting memories and meaningful connections. Through our games, you'll have the chance to forge new friendships, test your skills, and discover hidden talents you never knew you had. We believe that laughter truly is the best medicine and we're here to prescribe a hearty dose of it!
My Story
I married my high school sweetheart when I was 17 years old. No, I was not pregnant, but I was deeply in love and head strong! Trust me, no one thought we would make it more than three years. Yet, we will be celebrating our 45th anniversary later this year. I am the mother to our angel baby, Brienne, and to our son, Brandon. My husband and I are blessed to have two grandsons that makes our hearts smile.

While I was contemplating the blessing and miracle of having a long-term marriage, it also made me reflect on all the marriages of friends and family that did not survive. There was so much hope and love in those relationships that ended in such pain and loss. I looked up statistics on divorces in marriage in the United States and it is over 50%! What made my relationship survive?

As I really thought it through, I noticed a couple things that couples forget to do when life gets hard or when they become too content. They forget to enjoy each other, have fun together, and laugh. These have been important factors in my marriage, and I realized that this was something I can share with all of you. Thus was the birth of The Bougie Life Games.

My Bougie game partner is Diva Miranda Jones AKA Bougie Babe 2. You will learn more about her in her bio. We met as 911 call takers for the Aurora Public Safety Communications. She is 10 years younger than me. We somehow hit it off from the start. She is wise, fun, and always dependable and creative. Her marriage is loving, fun, and has things that has happened that not all couples would endure. Yet they have. Not just "because" but because they have chosen to make it fun together.

All of our relationships have events that are from road bumps to catastrophic. We do not have all the answers for sure, we have withstood so many things including burying a child, caretaking a parent unexpectedly, mid-life crisis, and illness among other things like just growing apart. Don’t think there isn’t some fun left for you and whoever your partner in life is. I can’t wait to ride out this journey with you. My background as a police and fire dispatcher and my love of gaming has taught me that learning should be an adventure, and personal growth should be an exciting journey. My amazing friend and Bougie Life Games Founder, Jill, shares this vision. We are committed to developing life games that not only entertain but also inspire, educate, and empower.
